About Me, Kindra LeFevre
I’m a stay-at-home mom, married to my high school sweetheart, David LeFevre, and we’ve been blessed with two children, Levi and Alexia.
In 2012, my husband and I co-founded a nonprofit, RighTrak Industries, to help those in poverty reach self-sufficiency through collaborative, Christ-centered community. In 2013, God called us to help plant Oikos Church, and we love being a part of this family on mission.
Professionally, I’ve had quite the choose-your-own adventure career, and for that I am grateful. I’m a former magazine editor turned marketer (i.e. grammar nerd) who—while earning an MBA in the evenings while working full-time—ended up specializing in environmental consulting to help public companies produce corporate sustainability reports. From there, I made the natural next move and quit my job to be a stay-at-home mom (read about that decision here). Since then I’ve been picking up work that God has called me to do.
My husband and I grew up in a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri, and now the four of us and our sweet pup, Percy, live in a charming, century-old bungalow in Houston, Texas.
About this Blog, For the Love!
For the Love! is a double entendre intended to represent both an expression of bewilderment uttered in a moment of child-induced chaos as well as my love for and devotion to God and my family. I’m starting this blog to chronicle our journey as a family on mission.
